Cbank: Russia’s foreign trade surplus soars to $18.5 bln in Sep

MOSCOW, Nov 9 (PRIME) -- Russia’s foreign trade surplus more than tripled on the year to U.S. $18.485 billion in September from $10.241 billion in the same month of 2017, the central bank said in a report on Friday.

Exports grew 24.8% on the year to $38.439 billion in September and imports fell 2.9% to $19.954 billion.

In January–September, foreign trade surplus surged to $136.3 billion from $80.4 billion in the same period of 2017.
